An Irish company obtains the first license to build a solar power plant in Libya.

Irish company AG Energy has obtained the first license to build a solar power plant in Libya.

The station will be located in Ghadames, with a capacity of 200 megawatts, and the company will work to develop the generating capacity to reach 3,500 megawatts.

It is worth noting that the station’s license was issued by the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs.
