HCS Condemns New Zealand’s Attack And Demands A Clear Definition Of Terrorism

High Council of State (HCS) Council, on Friday, condemned the terrorist attack on the worshipers in New Zealand, who were killed in dozens, and called on the United Nations to define a clear concept of terrorism.

In a statement, the HCS called on the New Zealand government to provide a clear explanation for its inability to prevent or limit the attack, even though it was public and on the air, punishing those who contributed to it and deter and protect Muslims in New Zealand.

The HCS stressed that such events prove that terrorist acts are not linked to religion or identity but are an enemy of all divine religions, stressing that what happened was a brutal operation against Muslims who were performing their worship in peace.

On Friday, at least 49 Muslims were killed and dozens more were injured during Friday prayers in two mosques in New Zealand.
