Al-Gussri: We Reject Any Party That Exploits The Status Of The Army To Serve Political Ends

The spokesman for “Al-Bonyan Al-Marsus Forces,” Major General Mohammed Al-Ghussri, said that the forces refuse to exploit any aspect of the army to serve under political purposes.

“Any attack on the city is tantamount to a declaration of war,” he said. “The consequences will be catastrophic and we are ready for it.”

Al-Gussri pointed out that the emergency state is continuing, confirming the call of all contingents of the force to protect and secure Sirte in the presence of the forces of Haftar coming towards them, noting that the force conducted patrols 90 kilometers south and east of the city and committed to sites entrusted with securing.
