Tawergha local council member, Abdulnabi Boaraba said on Wednesday Qarara Al-Qataf camp is witnessing an increase in numbers of Tawergha displaced residents, describing the humanitarian situation as “difficult”.
Boaraba told ArraedLG, the camp is suffering from a shortage of blankets and furniture, pointing to “the suffering of the people of Tawergha.”
Tawargha local council member added that the Government of National Accord (GNA) and good ordinary citizens helped to provide medical and assistant medical staff, medical laboratories and medicines in the field hospital.
The displaced residents of Tawergha have been stationed in the camp of Qarara Al-Qataf since the beginning of February, pending the implementation of the agreement to return to their city.
