Immigration Agency closes Al-Kuwaia and Abu Issa shelters

The head of the Anti-illegal Immigration Agency, Brigadier General Mohamed Bashr, issued a decision to close Al-Kuwaia and Abu Issa shelters that house illegal migrants.

The Agency’s media advisor, Milad Al-Saadi told ArraedLG on Wednesday, the closure decision was based on the plan of the Agency to reorganize the centers and terminate the ones that were established randomly, noting the closure of 18 centers out of 52 since September 2017.

The head of the Anti-illegal Immigration Agency announced on Monday that the housing centers currently shelter 3560 migrants out of the 27 thousand illegal immigrants, after the deportation of large numbers of them.
