The head of Derna local council, Awad Al-Airej, called on Sunday, the head of the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Faiz Al-Sarraj and the United Nations (UN) to take responsibility and protect the city of Derna.
Al-Airej told ArraedLG, the city suffers from a severe shortage of food and medicine because of the siege imposed by the forces of Haftar.
Media reports revealed on Sunday, the arrival of military reinforcements to the militants of what is known as the Omar Al-Mukhtar Chamber of Operations, related to Haftar forces at the west entrance of the city.
