The Presidential Guard is discussing technical and logistical support for the apparatus with the UN Mission

In a meeting with the delegation of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, the leadership of the Presidential Guard discussed joint cooperation between the two sides and the technical and logistical support expected from countries and organizations supporting the Presidential Guard.

On Tuesday, the Presidential Guard mentioned on its’ official page that the meeting focused on laying the foundations of human rights among the members of the Presidential Guard through training, preparing trainers, and exchanging experiences.

They also announced the launch of the first session in the field of international human rights law, mid-December, for the directors of departments of the Presidential Guard in preparation for training trainers.

The Presidential Guard is affiliated to the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord. It is responsible for securing the capital and some vital places in the western region.
