The Minister of Justice Stresses the Need to Activate the Agreements Signed Between Libya and Ukraine

The Minister of Justice in the Government of Al-Wefaq Mohamed Abdel Wahid, stressed the necessity of activating the agreements signed between Libya and Ukraine in the field of transporting convicted persons and assisting in criminal and civil cases, as well as the memorandum of the understanding concluded on legal cooperation.

During his meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Libya Nikola Nahorni, Abdul-Wahid said that the training and rehabilitation of members of the judicial police and ministry staff should be made to use from the expertise of the developed countries, including Ukraine.

The Minister of Justice added that the Ukrainian medical expertise in the field of healthcare should be used for inmates of rehabilitation and rehabilitation institutions.

Minister of Justice Mohamed Abdul Wahid discussed in October last year with the Ambassador of Ukraine the mechanism to benefit from the Convention on cooperation in criminal cases between the two countries in the field of health.
