CDA member says elections cannot be accepted without constitutional framework

The Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA) member, Al-Hadi Bouhamra said on Tuesday that no legislative and presidential elections can be held without a clear and specific constitutional framework.

Bouhamra, in a statement to ArraedLG, called on the House of Representatives (HOR) to issue the referendum law, so that Libyans can complete their constitutional path and cut off the means of external interference.

67 HOR members rejected in a statement on Monday, the statements of the UN mission to Libya and its president Ghassan Salame, which is pushing for a fourth transition period, according to the statement.
