High Council of State refers Constitution referendum draft HOR

The High Council of State referred the referendum law draft on the constitution to the House of Representatives (HOR); to discuss its adoption; to complement the constitutional process.

The head of the Office of the Second Deputy Chairman of the High Council of State, Abdullah Qadarboh said, in a letter obtained by ArraedLG on Saturday, the High Council voted at its 24th session held on 26 February, according to article 23 of the political agreement on the referendum law draft and referred the legislation to the HOR.

The Constitutional Drafting Assembly (CDA) called on the House of Representatives to complete its entitlements and the issuance of the referendum law, after the Supreme Court ruled that the jurisdiction of Al-Beda Court to consider the work of the CDA is null.
