Libyan Coast Guard rescues 98 migrants off the coast of Libya

The Libyan Navy spokesperson, Ayoub Qassem said on Sunday, a Coast Guard patrol rescued 98 illegal immigrants on Saturday.

“The migrants were on a rubber boat that stopped 14 miles north of Abu Kammash,” said Qassem, adding that Arab nationalities were among the immigrants.

On Saturday, the Libyan coast guard rescued more than 200 migrants during two separate operations off the coast of Libya.
