Over 50 Libyan explosive ordnance disposal personnel graduate US program

The US Embassy in Libya said over 50 Libyan explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) personnel from the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Interior graduated from a training program to safely dispose of explosive hazards, including Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

The embassy, ​​on its official website, said on Thursday that it had supported the training program with funding from Germany and with the help of the United Kingdom, which provided detection equipment.

In February, the US State Department’s Export and Border Security Program and the Department of Homeland Security conducted a training program for two groups of border security officials from all over Libya.
