Head of PC discusses financial situation in the country with officials

The head of Presidential Council (PC), Faiz Al-Sarraj discussed with Minister of Planning,Taher Al-Jahimi, Minister of Finance, Osama Hammad and Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah the financial and economic situation in the country, and what was previously adopted to cover the needs of the NOC.

The meeting, which was held on Tuesday, according to the PC media office, discussed the proposed financial arrangements for 2018 and the new allocations required for the NOC to raise production in order to increase export rates, which should provide returns that will contribute to improving the financial condition, reducing the deficit and revitalizing the national economy in general.

The National Oil Corporation chairman warned of the reflection of the lack of funding necessary for the Corporation on the productivity of oil fields.
