On Monday, a spokesman for the Egyptian armed forces, Tamer Al-Rifai, stated that Operation Dignity representatives who met in #Cairo recently chose #Cairo to begin discussions on reorganizing the Libyan army.

Al-Rifai mentioned on his official page that the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Mahmoud Hijazi, made an agreement with those who attended in #Cairo allowing for the formation of committees to help unify the military.

Al- Rifai added that both sides agreed on the need for peace and non-provocation, with the exception of “combating terrorism”; clarifying their agreement to support political and security tracks to reach stability in #Libya.
