The Minister of the Interior of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fathi Pashagha, confirmed Libya’s success in thwarting the terrorist project and the elimination of terrorist organizations that commit killings and attacks against security gates and state institutions.
During his participation in the opening of the 36th session of the Arab Council of Ministers in Tunis, on Sunday, Pashagha stated that since taking up the post of interior minister, he has worked to develop security work professionally and scientifically through restructuring the ministry and fighting corruption, supporting women and human rights, and also the initiation of training programs to enhance and develop the capabilities of security agencies.
Pashagha discussed with the Council of Ministers the issues related to the joint Arab national security and the Arab strategic phase of combating narcotics and psychotropic substances, combating terrorism and civil defense, according to the official page of the ministry.
TheInterior Ministry reassured early January citizens that the security situation in the capital is functioning properly and that it entrusted its security services to secure Tripoli and its environs.
