Justice and Construction Party Expresses Its Satisfaction with Abu Dhabi’s Agreement

Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Construction Party and Head of the Political Department, Nizar Ka’wan, expressed his satisfaction of the meeting between the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj and Khalifa Hifter, under the auspices of the UN Representative in Libya, Ghassan Salame.

In a statement, he Ka’wan the agreement on the need to end the crisis, finding solutions within the framework of civil state and the subordination of the military institution of civil authority, and the end of the political division and the unification of institutions and up to the elections.

Ka’wan praised the efforts of the UN mission and its president and his efforts to bring the various points of view closer together in order to expand the circle of consensus and reach a comprehensive settlement and to remove the specter of the conflict from Libya.

The president of the presidential council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, and the leader of the Karama operation, Khalifa Haftar, held a meeting on Thursday in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. They agreed to hold general elections and submit to the military institution of the civil authority.
