Al-Safrani: Threats received by Chairman and members of State Council to disrupt the consensus with the HoR.

Member of the Supreme Council of State, Abdulsalam Al-Safrani, said on Sunday that threats had reached the office of the presidency and some members; To dissuade them from their position on naming Fathi Bashagha as prime minister.

Al-Safrani added, in a statement to Arraed, that these threats come in order to pressure the parliament to try to issue a decision during its session tomorrow to cancel or disrupt the consensual path with the parliament.

Al-Safrani continued: “We say to those who try to use the threatening methods, that the members of the Supreme Council of State are statesmen who are accustomed to pressure, and such threats do not affect them, and they will not take decisions except according to what their conscience dictates to them.”

Bin Sherada: Postponed session of the State Council was only consultative, and we voted on the constitutional amendment previously.

The Russian Foreign Ministry: We hope that the “Bashagha” government will be able to unite the Libyan society.
