The Democratic Party welcomed, on Saturday, every rapprochement between the Libyan people, and the visits between its various components, regardless of previous differences.
In a statement, the party called on all Libyan parties, the House of Representatives, and the state council in particular, to take back the initiative and take courageous national steps to get out of the crisis in order to achieve security and stability in Libya.
The party said that from their support for the rapprochement between the Libyans, led to accusations of treason and compromising the alleged principles, adding that they are optimistic about these efforts, and see them as an opportunity that may help mitigate negative interference in the country’s affairs.
