The head of the scientific committee to combat Corona at the National Center, Khalid Al-Mahjoub, said on Wednesday that the epidemiological situation of Corona is somewhat stable, with an increase in the number of infections and deaths.
Al-Mahjoub added, in a statement to Arraed, that the increase in injuries and deaths is considered a gradual increase, noting that the curve of injuries increases gradually and is not dangerous.
Al-Mahjoub explained that the committee sent recommendations to all sectors to adhere to the precautionary measures, in their institutions, which they must implement.
It is worth noting that the National Center for Disease Control announced, last December, that it had recorded cases of the “Omicron” mutant for the first time in Libya.
