The Russian owner of the Wagner company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that the political situation in Libya is controlled by those who met in Benghazi, as they are the main figures, pointing out that all participants in this historic meeting must be respected.
And Prigozhin added – according to the Russian Sputnik agency – that the strong personalities are Fathi Bashagha, Aqila Saleh and Khalifa Haftar, explaining that Aqila Saleh controls Libyan laws, and Bashagha is the only politician from western Libya who can deal with groups around Tripoli.
It is worth noting that a number of presidential candidates, most notably Fathi Bashagha, Ahmed Maiteeg, Khalifa Haftar and Abdul Majeed Saif Al-Nasir, met last week in Benghazi; To unify national efforts to face the challenges facing Libya.
