The source added, in statements to the Emirati newspaper Al-Ittihad, that the gesture to expel African mercenaries from Libya came to prove the goodwill of Haftar’s “General Command.”
In a related context, the source said that the meeting that brought together the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant-General Mohamed al-Haddad, with Abdul Raziq Al Nazouri in the city of Sirte, touched upon consultations on a mechanism for the expulsion of all mercenaries, foreign forces and foreign fighters from Libyan territory.
