The Security Council holds two meetings within 24 hours on the Libyan issue.

The UN Security Council announced that it will hold a meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday to hear two briefings on the situation in Libya.

In a statement, the Council indicated that the session will be devoted to hearing a briefing from the International Criminal Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, and her report on the situation in Libya.
