The US Africa Command, AFRICOM, said on Wednesday that it supports the efforts of the US State Department; To help ensure that presidential and parliamentary elections are held in Libya on December 24.
AFRICOM added, in a statement carried by the Russian “Sputnik” agency, that it supports the Libyan political solution, and the withdrawal of all foreign forces and foreign fighters as a major step for stability in Libya.
