“The Times”: Haftar may recognize “Israel” in exchange for its support for him in the elections.

The British newspaper, “The Times”, said that Khalifa Haftar may recognize “Israel” in exchange for its support for him in the elections.

The newspaper added, on Tuesday, that confirmed rumors of talks took place between Haftar and “Israeli” officials, after his son Saddam was seen arriving from a plane departing from Dubai at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

And the newspaper documented, “Israeli” media, confirming that Saddam Haftar offered an official recognition of “Israel” for the first time, if it provided his father with diplomatic and military support for his assumption of power.

It is worth noting that the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, confirmed that Haftar’s son visited Tel Aviv last week as part of his quest to obtain military and diplomatic support from Israel.
