The Director of the Information Office of the Sirte Municipal Council, Mohamed Al-Amael, confirmed in a statement to Arraed on Sunday that they discovered two mass graves in the city, containing about 12 bodies, at the construction site of the Ibn Khaldoon School.
Al-Amael said that work stopped at the site, awaiting the presence of specialists to retrieve the bodies and identify them. It is likely that the bodies were victims of ISIS, wh controlled the city at an earlier time, as the city recorded about 66 missing people.
