Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said that the situation on the ground in Libya is not excellent, but the international community is fully aware that the Libyan people want elections.
Di Maio warned, in comments reported by the Italian Aki news agency, on Friday, of instability, an increase in the threat of terrorism and an exacerbation of immigration if the elections were not held on time.
It is worth noting that, during the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, called on the Libyan parties to act, in order to reach an agreement on the elections.
