On Wednesday, the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Volkan Bozkir, welcomed the parliament’s granting of confidence to the designated government.

Bozkir expressed, through his Twitter account, his hope that granting confidence to the “Dbaiba” government would help bridge divisions and put Libya on a steady path to the elections scheduled for next December.
