Radio France said on Tuesday that Egypt the main supporter of Haftar propsed “Peace Initiative” is a sign that he is losing land militarily and with it its political gains, especially after its attack turned into a “disaster.”
Radio France added, in a report, that Haftar is no longer the undisputed president of eastern Libya, and this is the message his foreign patrons receive, as evidenced by the fact that Alsisi invited Aqeela Saleh with him.
And the radio indicated that while Haftar gave himself full powers during a televised speech – Aqeela Saleh proposed a road map to get the country out of the split, which Russia welcomed and criticized Haftar’s statement in which he declared his unilateral authority.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi presented, last Saturday, a “political initiative” calling for a ceasefire and support for a political solution.
