Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Pilot Mohamed Qanunu, said on Saturday that the army forces destroyed armed vehicles of the Hifter militias, who tried to infiltrate into the Fourth Brigade camp in Aziziyah.
Qanunu said that the army targeted the sources of fire, and dealt decisively with the militias, calling on citizens to stay away from the whereabouts of mercenaries.
It is worth noting that the Hifter militias bombarded Maitiga airport and its surroundings and a number of residential neighborhoods in the capital Tripoli with more than 60 “Grad” missiles.
