America is moving in the Libyan dossier, and an official in its foreign affairs says: Hifter’s aggression strengthens the terrorists.

With the closure of oil ports by loyalists to Hifter exceeding 40 days – American diplomacy began to move through statements issued by the House of Diplomacy represented by its Secretary of State ministry and through its embassy in Libya and ministry officials.

In a noticeable development in the American policy towards the Libyan crisis, its embassy in Libya held the militia of Hifter responsible for the indiscriminate shelling that took place on Friday morning in the city of Tripoli, and considered them acts that undermine efforts to resolve the crisis, according to the embassy.

Hifter strengthens terrorism

A senior State Department official said, “Hifter’s attack on Tripoli only strengthens the terrorists, calling on him to stop the attack and give the negotiators a chance.”

In a press statements, the official stressed the importance of ending the oil closure in Libya as soon as possible.

nothing new

Political analyst Ali Abuzayd believes that the American statements are not new, and cannot be relied upon unless they are accompanied with actions, especially as they can put pressure on Hifter’s supporters, which they have not done yet.

Abuzayd stated, in a statement to Arraed, that this means that it leaves free space for the movement of these countries as they wish in the Libyan file, noting that he does not think that the Americans will press at the present time with regard to the closure of oil, after the low global demand for oil and low prices because of the spread of the Corona Virus.

Not clear

For his part, political analyst Faraj Derdor said that the position of the United States is still unclear at this moment, but there are changes that are taking place now in the American position, which are very fast.

Derdor believes, in a statement to Arraed, that the oil production may be close to return, especially since America had previously ordered Hifter when the oil closed to resume production, so he returned it the next day.
