General Staff calls on judicial authorities to investigate the murder and torture of prisoners of the army and civilians

The General Staff of the Libyan Army called on all judicial authorities, especially the Attorney General and the Military Prosecutor General, to investigate the killing, torture, and torture of 12 corpses captured by Hafter militias.

In a statement, the presidency said that forensic reports confirmed the actions of Hafter’s militias who were dehumanized and carried out criminal practices no different from ISIS’s actions against innocent people before being eliminated in Sirte.

The Chief of Staff condemned these heinous crimes prohibited under Islamic law, Libyan law and international humanitarian law, blaming the leaders and commanders of the aggressor forces on the capital for full responsibility for these crimes.

It is noteworthy that Al-Kani militias who fights with hafter handed the Red Crescent fingers 12 bodies of prisoners belonging to the forces of the Libyan army and civilians, with signs of horrific torture.
