Boufayed: The Statement of the Dialogue Committees is Not Democratic and Does Not Represent Me

On his official Facebook page, Boufayed said that the statement is not issued by the Supreme Council of the State; therefore, it does not represent the Council for several reasons: the failure to emphasize the eligibility of a referendum on the draft constitution and its justification for evading the House of Representatives.

In addition to the inclusion of the paragraph on the military institution “Article VIII” in the statement, which is not yet over the debate, and was not agreed upon neither near or far, on top of that to the mention parallel institutions with their names side by side and on an equal basis with the legitimate institutions operating from the capital.

Libya’s head of the dialogue committees in the House of Representatives and the highest state announced last Wednesday, their agreement on the restructuring of the executive branch.
