HOR spokesperson says today’s session was suspended to study article 8

The House of Representatives (HOR) spokesperson, Abdullah Bleheq said the House suspended today’s session to vote on the referendum law to Tuesday in order to further discuss Article 8 of the law.

Bleheq added to ArraedLG, Article 8 states that if the constitution draft was not approved by the Libyans, the HOR is entitled to form an advisory committee to submit a constitution draft within 30 days, affirming that the members did not agree on this point before, which caused the suspension of the session to allow the members time to study it.

The House of Representatives held on Monday, a session to vote on the draft referendum law in the presence of 95 members.
