GNA head agrees with Italian ENI to support electricity projects

The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Faiz Al-Sarraj agreed on Monday with representatives of Italy’s oil and gas company ENI to provide an urgent technical assistant to send teams to evaluate the electrical network and improve its efficiency, with the possibility of establishing new power plants.

Al-Sarraj discussed with the company’s CEO, Claudio Discelisi, the company’s projects in Libya and the possibility of developing cooperation with them, stressing the opening of new opportunities for investment in oil and gas and the development of projects for spatial development in the production and export areas in the south and north of the country.
