Sabha Directorate lacks means to spread security in the city

Sabha Security Directorate director, Younis Abdelkader said on Thursday, the Directorate suffers from a shortage of weapons, clothing, cars and that their capabilities are “modest” and need support.

Abdelkader said in a statement to ArraedLG, police officers of the Directorate are doing their work “completely” stressing the restoration of security in vital areas of the city, pointing out that the violations by sub-roads in farms has receded “significantly”.

He added that police officers are securing fuel stations when gasoline is available and banks when currency arrives through the airport until they reach commercial banks through the Central Bank Sabha.

Sabha witnessed a security breach, and tribal clashes sporadic, the latest where in the surroundings of Sabha historical castle.
