GNA Interior Ministry denies security breaches occurring in Tripoli

The Government of National Accord (GNA) Interior Ministry denied news promoted by some “media outlets” reporting security breaches and intrusions to some government headquarters in the capital Tripoli.

In a statement on Friday, the Interior Ministry assured citizens that the security situation inside Tripoli is under control and there are no security violations, stressing that this news is fake and its purpose is to destabilize the security scene inside the capital.

Media outlets and social media sites published news about Presidential Council (PC) headquarters being stormed in addition to the closure of some roads in Tripoli.
