Khoms makes history qualifying to Libya Cup semifinals

Khoms football team reached the semi-finals of Libya Cup for the first time in its history after beating Khaleej Sirte on penalty shootout in the quarter-finals of the competition.

The match, held at Benghazi’s Martyrs’ Stadium, went to a thrilling penalty shootout, where Khoms clinched victory 8-7, after the two halves of the match ended with a goalless draw.

Khoms will go head to head with Al-Hilal in the semi-final.
