Sirte Oil’s production reaches 61 thousand bpd

Sirte Oil and company announced on Saturday, production of oil reached 61 thousand barrels per day.

Director of financial and administrative affairs at the company, Mohamed Hmeda told Reuters, the company hopes to increase production to 90,000 barrels per day, noting that there is a shortage of some equipment to help production increase.

Last January, the oil production in Libya hit one million and eighty-three thousand barrels per day of crude, and one hundred and thirty-three million barrels of total oil liquids, according to Genscape.
