FIFA delegation in Tripoli to lift ban on Libyan stadiums

FIFA Director of Member Associations & Development for Africa and the Caribbean, Véron Mosengo-Omba said on Wednesday he is visiting Libya to discuss the lifting of the international ban imposed on Libya for several years.

According to the Libyan Football Federation official page, Mosengo-Omba said if FIFA sees no obstacles on the ground, it will lift the ban on Libyan football stadiums, which we hope will happen, adding that the federation would study with the Libyan federation all needs that would improve sports activity in Libya.

A delegation from the Fédération Internationale de Football Association arrived in Tripoli on Tuesday to discuss the lifting of the ban on Libyan stadiums and difficulties facing the Libyan Football Federation.
