7 new ambassadors present credentials to head of GNA

The head of the Presidential Council (PC) of the Government of National Accord, Faiz Al-Sarraj received on Sunday, in Tripoli, seven new ambassadors to Libya, who presented him with their credentials in the presence of Foreign Minister, Mohamed Al-Sayala.

According to the GNA media office, the ambassadors are of the Republic of Rwanda, Norway, the Vatican State, the Republic of Bangladesh, Canada, South Korea and Pakistan.

The ambassadors stressed the keenness of their countries to achieve security and stability in Libya, pointing to their aspiration to develop relations of cooperation with Libya and support the Libyan people.

The Government of National Accord is seeking the return of ambassadors of countries that used to have a presence and work from Libya, before leaving in 2014, because of the security situation.
