UNSMIL welcomes second Libyan municipalities meeting

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) welcomed the second meeting of the mayors of Libya’s municipalities in Tripoli.

The mission, on its official Twitter account, called on Monday for all parties to seek what it described “historical responsibility” to move the country from a transitional phase to stable institutions, encouraging all gatherings of Libyans aimed at reforming the situation in the country.

The second meeting of the municipalities of Libya concluded activities on Monday, in Tripoli with the participation of 107 representatives of municipal councils in Libya.
