The Misurata Municipal Council decided to support the General Cleaning Service Company in the municipality with a sum of 365 thousand dinars to solve the problems the company is going through.
The Council’s spokesperson Osama Badi told ArraedLG on Thursday, the Council’s support to the company came because of the Ministry of Local Government delay in the disbursement of financial dues, pointing to the Company’s need to ensure the provision of necessary and emergency requirements.
Badi explained that the scope of the work of the General Company in Misurata include the cities of Zliten and Bani Walid.
The Misurata Municipal Council spokesperson said they addressed the Minister of Local Government, Badad Qansu regarding the decision to reduce the salaries of workers, affirming the minister’s suspension of the decisio until the formation of a committee to study the standardization of salaries of cleaning workers in Libya.
The General Cleaning Service Company Misurata suspended on Sunday, work in all centers in protest against the decision of the Ministry of Local Government to amend the salaries of employees of the company.
