Janzur Municipality deplores Presidential Council stance on Al-Maya events

The Janzur Municipal Council denounced what it described as the Presidential Council’s (PC) weakness in dealing with the events of Al-Maya Bank and the head of the PC lack of support to the council’s members charged with securing and protecting the road.

Janzur Municipal Council called on, in a statement on Monday, the commissioning of a qualified force to secure the coastal road to be safe and to preserve the lives and property of people.

The Forsan Janzur battalion had closed the coastal road at “Bridge 17” to protest the departure of the presidential guard to the coastal road, previously agreed to be secured by them.
