France renews support for successful elections in Libya

France’s Ambassador to Libya, Brigitte Kormi renewed, during a meeting with the head of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Faiz Al-Saraj on Wednesday, the support of her country to holding a successful electoral process in Libya.

According to the GNA Facebook page, Al-Sarraj affirmed the need to hold the elections on thorough basis, adding that the House of Representatives (HOR) must fulfil its commitments to issue the referendum law and another law for the elections.

Al-Seraj discussed the sponsorship of the French embassy for the economic forum that will be held next month in Tripoli in the presence of French companies in various sectors including energy, health and infrastructure.

In attendance was the French military attaché Terri Gilestro; to discuss the political and security situation in Libya.
