The official of the media Office of the Special Forces, Riyad Al-Shuhebi, told Russian news agency Sputnik, the military police department of the forces of Haftar in Al-Marj released Al-Warfali after what he described as “the completion of investigations with him.”
On Wednesday, supporters of Al-Warfali burned tires and blocked roads in the city of Benghazi in protest against his decision to surrender after the ICC demanded his arrest for war crimes.
