Awlad Suleiman and Tabu tribes agree on cease-fire

A spokesperson for the Sabha Elders Council, Hassan Al-Rqeeq said on Wednesday, the representatives of the tribe of Awlad Suleiman and Tabu agreed to a ceasefire.

In addition, they agreed to abide by the previous agreement signed between the two parties in the Italian capital Rome.

Al-Rqeeq told ArraedLG, the parties met under the pressure of Sabha Elders Council; to stop the fighting, explaining that they agreed to meet in the next two days; to address and resolve all the outstanding problems between the two sides.

The city of Sabha witnessed last Wednesday, clashes with heavy weapons, among armed groups from Awlad Suleiman, and another from Tabu.
