Security reasons delay the return of Moroccan immigrants

Moroccan media said on Sunday that “doubts about the affiliation of some Moroccan immigrants to terrorist organizations,” has delayed the return of about 330 illegal immigrants from Libya to Morocco.

According to Xinhua news agency, the Moroccan authorities have sent an official delegation to identify the Moroccan nationals in the migrants shelters in Libya, adding that the identification and verification process is still ongoing.

Moroccan authorities repatriated more than 420 illegal immigrants from Libya to Morocco in 2017.
