The Presidential Council (PC) announced on Monday, the end of all military operations launched by the commander of the western military zone in and around the area of Abu Kammash.
The Council said in a statement on its official page that it had issued instructions to the state agencies concerned with receiving the Ras Ajdir border crossing, confirming that it had taken security arrangements to restore life in the region and to prosecute those who it described as “criminals”.
The PC commended the efforts and attitudes of the people of Zuwara city, and their support for building a state of institutions and law, according to the statement.
The area of Abu Kammash saw on Friday, armed clashes between the forces of the Western military zone, and security forces of the border crossing in Ras Ajdir.
