UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame: The South of Libya plays a key role in the national reconciliation

On Thursday, during the Southern reconciliation forum, the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame, stated that the south of Libya plays a key role in national unity, in the unity of Libyan soil and the protection of its  borders.

On Thursday,  Salame mentioned on the mission’s twitter account, that the mission’s goal for the coming year is to double their efforts in the south. Adding that they have began the reparation of hospitals in Ubari, as well as the schools and university of Sabha, under the auspices of the United Nations projects in Libya.

It should be noted that the United Nations Mission has provided a project called “Libya Stabilization Fund” in cooperation with the GNA to help municipalities improve the services provided to citizens.
