HOR President Aguila Saleh discusses the latest developments in the electoral process with the Electoral Commission

On Tuesday the President of the House of Representatives, Aguila Salih, met with the head of the Electoral Commission, Emad Al-Sayeh, at the headquarters of the Parliament in Tobruk to discuss preparations for the upcoming elections in Libya.

Saleh and Al-Sayeh discussed the laws governing the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections and the Commission’s readiness to oversee the electoral process, according to the official website of the Parliament.

This meeting comes following the Supreme National Electoral Commission announcement last Wednesday regarding the start of voter registration and the development of the electoral register in preparation for the upcoming elections.
